A lot of work has already been put into planning and preparing a week of virtual Eastern Camp events. The schedule of the week’s events is listed on the website so you can begin to prepare and make plans for your week. Each evening begins at 8:00pm EST; however, we will be streaming a slide show of camp memories each evening before the services begin to encourage you to open up the livestream page a little early. As many of us have done for so many years in the past, this week we would be busily getting ready for the Pine Valley Retreat. Unfortunately, this year, in compliance with CA State regulations, the PVBCC is closed for business with no definite date of reopening.

To keep the “PV Memories” alive, we invite you to join us this Saturday, May 23 at 7:00 PM for some virtual PV experience. Afterwards, as you enjoy the PV slideshow, you are welcome to have your own family “Ice Cream Social” – this year there will be no special collection.

Pine Valley 2020 has been cancelled.

We continue to monitor very closely the developments of the coronavirus situation and have the following update:

On March 19, 2020 the Governor of CA, Gavin Newsom issued an executive order N-33-20 ordering all individuals living in the state of CA to stay home or at their place of residence . This order is in place until further notice.

As a result, the Pine Valley Bible Conference Center (PVBCC) is closed for business until at least May 1. In our communication with their staff we have agreed to the following options:

The Mansfield Youth Group is pleased to announce that, Lord-willing, we plan to host a Youth Sing this Labor Day weekend, September 1-3, 2018. The Youth Sing is a 3-day weekend event, during which people gather together from far and near and put together an outstanding choir program of songs, in praise of our Lord. Guest speakers are invited and a theme from Scripture is reflected on throughout the weekend. The choir program is practiced on Saturday and presented Sunday evening. The following Monday is reserved for fellowship together as well as for those distant travelers to get back home. This year’s theme is 10,000 Reasons! With 61 members, it is the largest choir in our history. This year’s choir tour began in Vancouver, BC on June 25th and will travel throughout the Western United States, ending with a program in Richland, WA on July 12th.

ICFG Work Team

An ICFG work team is planned for Saturday June 20th at the Scioto Valley church in Ohio beginning at 10am. The ICFG was contacted with a request for a work team to assist with various spring clean up and landscaping projects. Those interested in helping are asked to bring work gloves and shovels, and should register online ( www.icfg.org ) so that the local church can plan for meals and accommodations if needed. Everyone is welcome to attend church services with their congregation Sunday morning.

Tornado Relief for Central Illinois

You have probably heard of the Central Illinois tornadoes that recently hit Washington, IL and several surrounding towns. While a vast majority of the losses are insured, funds are still needed to help individual rebuilding efforts for those who are uninsured, under-insured, or have other unmet needs. Any donations received will be distributed through our local Tremont Apostolic Christian Church, Northfield Christian Fellowship , and the Apostolic Christian Church of America’s world relief program .
