Western Camp – July 8-14, 2019

Betty Lumsden • March 21, 2019

When the children of Israel were taken into Babylonian exile and captivity, they found themselves in the shadows of an idolatrous and powerful empire. How do God’s people return to God after they have fallen so far from grace, and how do they faithfully follow God in a self-worshiping society that demands total allegiance and assimilation? How does one bear prophetic witness to the beauty and truth of God’s kingdom in a world that has blinded itself in the service of lesser gods? Join us at Western Camp this year as we walk through the book of Daniel and explore what it means to stand strong  in dark places.
