APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN CHURCH BIBLE CLASS TEACHER OUTLINE

Fourth Quarter, 2004

THEME: KINGS AND PROPHETS OF JUDAH

INTRODUCTION: As we finish our series on Marks of a Christian, we go back to the Old Testament for a study of some of the Kings of Israel. It is important to realize that the prophets whose books appear in the Old Testament lived and ministered during the period when the kings reigned. In fact, their messages can be understood only in the light of the events that were transpiring. Though the period of the kings was an evil one, the lives and ministries of godly kings and prophets shone brightly. It has been traditionally difficult to teach lessons based on this era, but these will have special quality and will enrich the spiritual lives of the students.
