APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN CHURCH BIBLE LESSON TEACHER OUTLINE
Second Quarter, 2004

THEME: KINGS AND PROPHETS OF ISRAEL

INTRODUCTION: The lessons of this quarter go back into the Old Testament for a look at the Kingdom of Israel. We started this topic last quarter so that the first two lessons in this quarter would coincide with Easter.

Though these were sinful and wicked times, the emphasis of these lessons is upon the anointed ministry of the prophets. We watch while Elijah and Elisha perform their miracles. Then we listen as Jonah proclaims judgment; Hosea extols the mercy of God; and Amos explains why God’s judgment must fall.
