APOSTOLIC CHRISTIAN CHURCH BIBLE LESSON TEACHER OUTLINE

Third Quarter, 2002

THEME
: EARLY LIFE OF DAVID - 1 Samuel and Psalms

INTRODUCTION: The theme of the third quarter "The Early Life of David", introduces an interesting feature, a study of the life and writings of the great king of Israel. David wrote many of the Psalms and they aptly reflect his feelings as he went through the various experiences of his life. By combining studies in the life of David with portions from the Psalms, we make both the historical and the poetical portions of the Scripture more meaningful. At a later time, the same approach will be followed in the discussion of David’s reign. The last lessons of this quarter represent David’s experiences and attitudes toward God.
