First Quarter, 2002

THEME: CHRIST—KING AND SAVIOUR

INTRODUCTION: This series of lessons concludes the past four quarters of study from the Gospels of Matthew and Mark. These two Gospels are closely related, for Matthew contains all of Mark except 55 verses. It was logical therefore to consider these two Gospels concurrently. Both Luke and John which have many incidents peculiar to them will be considered later.

The last two lessons of this quarter prior to the Easter lessons will introduce us to our study for the next quarter, which will take us to the Old Testament for the study of Samuel and Saul.
