Fourth Quarter, 2001
THEME: CHRIST - KING AND SAVIOUR
INTRODUCTION: During our study in the first quarter of 2001, we studied
the theme of Christ-King and Saviour, from the gospels of Matthew and Mark,
dealing with the first years of Jesus’ life and ministry. Since then we have
had two quarters of study in the Old Testament and now, we are returning to a
study of Christ-King and Saviour. The study will continue through the first
quarter of 2002. Some of the thoughts projected in the fourth quarter are as
follows:
"Come, take up the cross and follow me."
"God's grace calls men to salvation and service."
"Keeping ourselves pure."
"Christ desires all men to turn to Him and bear spiritual fruit."
"We should love Christ because He first loved us."
"To reject God's Son is to insure God's wrath."
These are only a few of the lessons taught and will indeed
make a worthwhile study for student and teacher alike.
